Desolate and depressing are not the same thing. Some of your photos work for each. For example #1, #3, #5 are not depressing but they are desolate.
Did you take these photos yourself? They are beautiful, especially the ones from campus.
Yea, I took them myself. Thank you. :) It was all thanks to playing with the lighting, it wasn't really that pretty that day :P
