Camera exercises

Image with deep focus:

I could NOT get this to work. I probably just don't understand the camera settings. :/

  1. The white balance change is good. For the DoF shots changing your focal length would emphasize the change in depth. What you have is fine for a wide deep shot. Try zooming in on the silver skull in the foreground with the other skull in the background and you will see shallow DoF. Your action shot needed to be irised down a bit to separate the water from the white sink. For a low light shot you could have used the skull set up from the floor and taken it at night or with a closet light on or desk lamp in the background. Then by changing your aperture, shutter speed, ISO try to create an image where you can either see everything clearly or create contrast in the image.
